The workshop will be held in Amphitheater 204 at the new AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center on the University of Texas campus at Austin, Texas, with state-of-the-art technology and communication services. The meeting venue also includes comfortable accommodations, high speed internet access, digital TV programming, and access to the fitness center.

The Conference Center is located on the University of Texas campus and near to the many recreational and cultural attractions of the Austin Hill Country.
The Austin campus is the site of 17 libraries and several world-class museums, and just a short walk or ride away from central Austin attractions: the Bob Bullock Texas History Museum, the Texas State Capitol, Congress Avenue, and the 6th Street and Warehouse shopping and entertainment districts.
Known as "The Live Music Capital of the World," Austin is a vibrant mix of Texas friendliness and cosmopolitan sophistication, with opportunities for outdoor recreation activities. The weather in Austin during February can be cool, but is generally mild: the average high is 65 F (18 C) and the average low is 44 F (7 C).

There are some discounted rooms available at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center. To reserve a room there with the discount, do the following:
- Go to meetattexas.com.
- Select the dates that the guest will be staying; click on ‘Check Availability’ on the left-hand side.
- In the ‘Group or Promotional Code’ box, place your group/promotional code (LECTRO0211). Note that this code has a letter "O" followed by a number zero. After entering the group code, hit tab to get out of the box. If done correctly, in the ‘Reservation Summary’ to the left-hand side a Booking Code will show up.
- The dates you selected will automatically generate in the calendar (if your dates are outside of the groups dates or has additional dates, you must call in to Reservations, 512-404-3600).
- Under the ‘Room Type’ tab, your choices for room types will show up. If it shows ‘There are currently no room types available for the selected dates’ then please check the dates. If you are still having problems, please call Reservations, +1 512-404-3600.
- Select your room type and then click Continue.
- Please fill in all Guest and Credit Card information including an email address (to ensure you receive an email confirmation letter).
- After the information is complete you will receive a confirmation number. If you do not receive the confirmation number then you have not completed the reservation.
